We are a small SaaS company running a lean team and as COO I am able to serve in many roles and lead a wide variety of initiatives. During my tenure I’ve played a key role in the doubling our company size from 25 employees to over 50 in 12 different states, established outsourcing operations in Africa and the Philippines, opened a sales office in England, expanded our data coverage from 30 to 50 states, and transitioned us to a remote-first company. I lead our annual planning, build out new departments, develop employees into leaders, assist department heads in setting and meeting their goals, and provide candid feedback to the CEO on the state of the company. My job is to make it easier for everyone else to do their job.In addition to COO I serve as HR director responsible for policy & procedure documentation and auditing, insurance and benefits management, labor law compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and assisting employees overcome their professional and personal challenges.Currently serving as Interim Data Quality Director responsible for over 150 employees and contractors involved in our data collection, entry, and quality checking processes and have the task of restructuring the department with a focus on efficiency and scalability.

Teaching parenting and fatherhood classes to men in our local community and incarcerated fathers. Very rewarding work.

Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is a recently-opened 80-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Utah County serving patients with acute mental health needs. I was hired to expand their business reach into Southern Utah. I worked hard to gain the trust and business of healthcare facilities and key players in our local healthcare community. During my time with the hospital, admitting referrals from my region of Southern Utah more than tripled.

Arivaca Boys Ranch is an adolescent residential treatment center service adolescents boys and their families in crisis. I was recruited to serve as second-in-command during their startup phase where I was responsible for all day-to-day operations, hiring, training, scheduling, and policy implementation. As a certified conflict resolution facilitator through the Arbinger Institute I regularly facilitated groups of staff, students, and parents in learning and applying the principles of positive change in their life.

As a part of the field team leadership I focused on hiring, training, and developing front-line staff, and coordinating student academic progress in the high school credit program.

Community based program teaching families English. I had a class of 30 students. It was great working with great people teaching great people. I loved it.
