    - Ensured quality of numerous new feature launches and content additions to the web version of the Scribd platform. Worked with given user stories and acceptance criteria to create detailed test plans. Executed testing in a timely, controlled manner. Reported bugs and other issues into JIRA, providing reproduction steps, relevant error information, and tracking details. - Participated in daily pre-deployment checks, assuring our core functionality was intact after merging new code. Ran key manual tests in conjunction with automation and 3rd party QA vendors to catch and correct any bugs before deploying to our production environment.- Owned the relationship with a 3rd party testing vendor, Rainforest QA. This included writing detailed test plans for Rainforest testers to follow while performing the tests in a virtual machine, working with our contacts at Rainforest to streamline our testing process, and ensuring that the test plans are kept up to date with frequent product changes and a/b tests. Also reviewed all Rainforest tester comments, entering their bug findings into our JIRA system, and providing feedback on individual tester performance.- Worked very closely with developers, designers, product managers, and other project stakeholders in Agile squads to plan, build, and ship projects efficiently in a Sprint based cycle. Attended regular Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Sprint Retro meetings to size the stories we’d be tackling.- Completed accessibility checks for all new feature work, ensuring our company’s commitment to making our platform usable by as many people as possible. As a contractor in Facebook's Media Operations department, I've had a lot of different roles. My main duties are processing user access and support requests for a Facebook product, and handling said requests in a timely manner. Through careful attention to department policies, and extensive investigation, I've helped ensure the authenticity of Facebook pages. I've also helped maintain spreadsheets of users interested in Facebook products and tools. My time at Facebook has given me a real passion for seeing how people use social media in vastly different ways. I want to facilitate that creativity and provide positive user experiences.
