As business development executive it was my pleasure to work with risk managers, CFOs, treasurers and the like who wanted to actively protect the business assets that contribute to delivering value to their customers, employees and communities. I engaged during the marketing phase of an insurance program, and helped identify where we were be able to bring additional value to the client's business through our engineering, claims, and underwriting expertise.

I’m responsible for managing and promoting the Affiliated FM brand. Working with senior leadership and the business, I’m responsible for leveraging corporate resources to push forward strategic marketing initiatives. In addition, I’ve identified opportunities outside of corporate initiatives and moved projects forward that have had a positive impact on the business. Previous to this role, I was a production underwriter where I managed a book of business and marketed for new business in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Michigan.

The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club is a non-profit organization created to retain Young Professionals in Greater Cleveland by providing events focused on both personal and professional development. The Club offers Educational events including speakers and presentations, Networking events, Philanthropic opportunities and Social events.As Networking Director it is my duty to manage a committee. This committee is responsible for adding value to our member base by providing meaningful opportunities for young professionals to network. We have established and built a monthly event, Networking at Noon held the second Wednesday of every month that brings in a well respected leader within the community to discuss current issues affecting business and policy within Northeast Ohio.I also participate in other networking opportunities in the community to further develop relationships with other organizations and the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club.

Successfully built strong business relationships in the Greater Cleveland Business District introducing ASAP to a new market. Championed the re-branding efforts to positively impact the image of the company. This included working with several agencies to come up with a new logo and more relevant website.

Worked with senior partners to identify movers and shakers within my target industry. Built relationships with these senior producers and middle level executives. Managed sophisticated sales transactions by securing contracts and delivering above expectations.

Built a small business while still in High School. Developed strategies to secure new clients through a referral network. Managed a small crew of peers. Learned the basics of business and how to manage a P and L that was in the Black 4 years running. Created wealth for family and friends. Used earnings to finance college and sold company after it was determined a long term career in landscpaing was not a desired occupation.
