VeriFone acquired Global Bay in November 2011. Collectively we now form the Mobile Retail Systems business unit within VeriFone responsible for the international market (EMEA & ASPAC) delivering retail solutions on the GlobalBay platform. Continuing as the lead BA for the EMEA team following the acquisition, I am now also responsible for all demo creation and preparation. Due to the nature of our acquisition I have had to expand my solution design to include complex international payment methods. Taking this new market experience I was able to work closely with our core US product team, assisting them with the regional localization of our product suite to include payment functionality.

I joined Global Bay in order to get back to my passion of designing solutions that solve customer issues, although my degree is in product design I found I was able to translate my knowledge quickly and effectively to designing mobile solutions. I was the lead BA for the UK business unit serving customers throughout EMEA. My primary responsibilities included requirements gathering, application design (UI/UX), documentation, testing, training and project deployment. On some projects I also acted as the project manager responsible with the whole project from end to end, which involved managing both local and an offshore development team. When not working on projects I also assisted the sales team in pre sales activities, demo creation and exhibiting at numerous leading industry trade shows.

Given the experienced gained as an Application Engineer I transitioned into a technical sales role responsible for all sales in south wales. I was responsible for all aspects of the sale from lead generation, technical demonstrations, presentations, contract preparation and training.
