Independent ConsultantAngie'S Restaurant Jun 2013 - May 2014I am the creator of the Angie's Mural Art Competition.Project Background:The Angie's Mural Art Competition is a project that I pitched to the management team of the Angie's Restaurant in Logan, UT. The building itself has a large cinder-block wall on the north-facing side that remained bare for 30+ years. I proposed that the restaurant use this space to have a 12 by 50 foot mural depicting the history of Cache Valley painted on the wall. The painting was completed by winners of a valley-wide art contest involving 25+ schools and the public. This contest created a unique opportunity for customers to interact closely with the restaurant as they voted on art entries and witnessed the mural's progress. The ultimate goal was to increase company revenue by enhancing the restaurant's image.The owner, Saboor Sahely, liked my idea and contracted me to oversee the project. Initial work began in June 2013 and the final mural was finished April 26, 2014.Key Accomplishments:- Obtained a mural permit from the Logan Planning and Zoning Committee.
