As the Baseball/Softball SSM, I am in charge of projecting, ordering and maintaining in-stock SKU’s from more than 30 vendors, each with individual requirements. I also lead the visual merchandising of my shop in order to drive sales of high margin and high volume products. As SSM it is my job to train other experts on product knowledge pertinent to the baseball/softball industry as well as key technologies in the products we choose to carry. Sales is also a key part of my daily job requirements. I am responsible for giving best in the industry customer service in the following shops: Camping, Sport and Game, Golf, Exercise, Bike, Water Sports, Baseball/Softball and Paddle shop.
