Specific accomplishments in this role include:- Championed innovative efforts to improve mission capable rates across the Naval Aviation Enterprise. Implemented community-wide organizational level process improvements that directly increased MH-60R mission capable rates from 68.9% to 79%. Led and coordinated efforts with multiple stakeholders to improve aircraft mission capable rates at the training squadron by 30%, while significantly reducing aircraft down time across the US Navy MH-60R fleet following depot-level maintenance events.- Recognizing complex, multi-faceted risks to the MH-60R’s dipping sonar system, spearheaded efforts across a cross-functional team that included industry partners, program office engineers, and tactical operators to improve system reliability and enhance effectiveness of a critical anti-submarine warfare capability.- Collaborated with the Type Command, aviation leadership and resource sponsors during development of Naval Helicopter Concept of Operations 2.0 to examine DOTMLPF-P solutions for future rotary force structure and war fighting capability requirements that will inform development of Future Vertical Lift requirements.
