Matthew Sheard is a Capital Markets Consultant, that proactively works with Commercial Real Estate Investors to provide debt and equity solutions that are the best available in the market to facilitate their needs. Prior to this position, Matthew was a Retail Investment Advisor with Marcus & Millichap's Santelli | Sheard Group focusing on urban core - (re)development/reposition opportunities throughout DFW and emerging market retail assets. Prior to working with Marcus & Millichap, Matthew worked with a Texas based commercial real estate development firm as a market analyst and agent tasked with studying the DFW retail markets, which helped with site/asset allocation for new developments. Mr. Sheard’s attention to detail and ability to identify investor’s needs and goals, allows him to execute with utmost professionalism catered to each of his clients.Matthew received his Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 2021, and he received a degree in Communications with a focus in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island in 2012. He was a Defensive End for the NCAA Division IAA University of Rhode Island Rams football team serving as team Captain in the 2011 season. Upon completion of his football career, Matthew spent six months living abroad primarily in Israel, where he became proficient in Hebrew. He is an active board member for the non-profit organization Give Today Save Tomorrow founded in 2010. Matthew lives in Dallas with his Wife Margaux and Daughters Mavis and Miriam, and together they enjoy traveling and outdoor activities.
