Director of the research in vivo imaging laboratory at Amgen, Inc. The department utilizes advanced imaging technologies and methods in a broad spectrum of preclinical disease models to assess the functional, molecular, and anatomical tissue microenvironment. Technologies include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), x-ray computed tomography (CT), bioluminescence, fluorescence, and Cerenkov luminescence imaging (CLI). The department supports applied and translational imaging research to further the understanding of disease and treatment response in support of Amgen’s innovative research and development of new therapies.
