Working as Account Manager first in Winback/acquisition then Major accounts selling a wide range of product from this broadbase distributor including HP/Compaq, IBM, Microsoft, Borland, AST, Lotus, Epson, Canon etc! etc!

Took over purchasing full time for Kamco when organisation acquired by Future Group, later took on additional responsibility for liaison/integration of production facility. Role required supply chain management to provide just in time production of specialist CAD workstations. I managed reductions is costs and improvements in process which saw regular.

Reporting to managing director, was responsible for buying, selling and managing component inventory for CCL which is a sister company to Kamco, this arrangement meant that Kamco could buy at better break points because CCL would sell any excess purchased. When the Kamco was sold by the Managing Director one of the conditions was that I moved across from.

Worked to support dealer sales force with coaching where required and looked after some major accounts, acted as liaison to other sales functions within Olivetti UK and managed relationship with some key accounts, this grew into a corporate sales role selling primarily to public sector, national government, large commercial accounts and defense contractors
