During two stints with this company over this time frame I started as a Door Supervisor at Sankeys nightclub in Manchester, and was quickly made 2ic after showing I could I could adapt and manage many situations including logistical problems regarding staff assignments within an 18 man team.Shortly after Sankeys closed for the Summer I was asked to come back to Radius to Lola Lo on Deansgate locks after they had been having some issues. The area manager selected myself as part of a hand picked team which they believed could bring a fresh feel to the venue as well getting rid of any trouble makers that previously frequented the venue. I initially worked 7 nights a week until the venue was back on the right track. Primarily working on the front door assessing customers on the dresscode, attitude and how intoxicated they were providing excellent customer service and dealing with any conflict that may arise due to refusal of entry.-------• Roles of my job included;• Liaising with the Police, licensing and Management to ensure the running of a safe nightclub.• Filling out all necessary paperwork including time sheets, incident reports, and drug confiscations.• Escorting staff with large amounts of money.• Checking that all staff are signed in/out at correct times as well as placing them in their specific job role for the night.• Manage any situations where conflict may arise.• Escorting unwanted patrons out of the venue for various reasons.• Working with management to protect their license and help the venue run smoothly.• Carrying out search and entry duties.
