Matt Smith currently serves as the Senior Director of Talent for the LEARN Charter School Network. He joined the LEARN HR Team in February of 2011 to serve as the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition. Prior to that he worked with the Accelerate Institute (formerly Inner-City Teaching Corps and Alain Locke Initiative) from 2002-2011 serving as the Director of Outreach and Partnerships as well as the Director of the Inner-City Teaching Corps Career Changers teaching program. He taught fourth grade at St. Dorothy School as an Inner-City Teaching Corps corps member and continued teaching there for two years after his volunteer service commitment. A Boston native, Matt graduated from Providence College in 1998 and holds a Master of Science in Education degree from Northwestern University.
