Coordinates activities and provide support for the management team in the Patient Financial Service (PFS) department. The department is comprised of approximately 370 employees in four locations.Provide operational support by coordinating departmental activities including management team meetings, assisting with special projects and assisting with the development and implementation of operational processes.Manage data by creating, analyzing and/or distributing periodic and/or special reports.Serve as a liaison between PFS management and various constituents within PFS, UI Health Care, the Carver College of Medicine and external institutions with regard to projects and special assignments. Supervise PFS secretarial staff.Monitor workflow and accounts in order to reconcile expenditures. Initiate requests for equipment. Prepare correspondence, project updates and executive summaries and make presentations on these issues as requested.

Managed marketing activity at campuses across my region. I developed relationships with students, faculty, and staff on campuses to spread the Kaplan message. I was the face of the company for students across 14 campuses, but primarily at Clemson University and the University of South Carolina.

I managed service and operations for the center and its faculty, boosting it from the middle of the pack in customers who would absolutely recommend Kaplan, to become 2nd in the country out of 160 centers in my first year. I ensured that all customers got the same messaging and service across the area, and also the integrated programs for Nursing at Clemson and Greenville Tech.

I specialized in recruiting for IT applications, particularly in Java/J2EE, DBA's, .Net, Reporting, and Oracle ERP/CRM, etc. I interviewed and screened candidates, worked on their resumes, and helped to gather requirements from employers so I could source the best fits for their organization.

I sold medicare supplements, life insurance, home health care and long term care policies to the senior market, focusing on a consultative sales approach with thorough fact finding to find the best products with the features and benefits to fit my clients.
