Alongside the Programme Management of a large Cyber Programme, I am also now responsible for wider Portfolio responsibilities, overseeing internal projects and programmes, providing support and escalation for numerous Project Managers. I am also part of the delivery leadership team, providing process guidance, creation and sign off for delivery, contractual and financial work streams.

Working through UST for Aviva as a Project Manager on Infrastructure Security Projects, including Threat and Vulnerabilities, Infrastructure hardening, and Application through Single Sign On Projects.This includes managing and engaging multiple 3rd party suppliers and co-ordinating and planning all activities.

Responsible for Infrastructure project delivery across all Technologies. Responsible for planning, purchase, budget management, resourcing and management of technical resources in the delivery process. Projects include new building fit outs, building moves and associated infrastructure, new platform requirements, re-platforming, systems integration and migrations including data centre migrations (lift and shift, swing etc), compliance and security projects.

Working on the Aviva Investors Project for HPES. Working as part of a team responsible for builds and configuration of all Windows Servers (Physical or Virtual 2003/2008/2008R2) on the Aviva Investors estate and the subsequent Operational Acceptance and Ongoing Support.

Worked on site at HP offices in Norwich, involved in the Transformation Project after the outsourcing of IT services to HPES.Responsible for the audit, monitoring and system capture of Decommissioning candidates and the subsequent processes for removal.I also worked as part of a team to implement and build the new infrastructure for migration of existing systems.

Worked as part of the Strategic Datacentre Consolidation team as a Windows Systems Administrator, main role was working on the team responsible for the integration of the the equities floor of ABN AMRO into RBS GBM, secondary role was to assist in the Migration, Consolidation and Re-stacking activities across RBS GBM Datacentres, my main responsibilites included:• Build, provision and QA of all new servers to RBS GBM Standards (W2k3 mainly with some W2k8 through automated build engine) ESX builds also through automated build.• Application installation of any required software including bespoke equities applications and client installs such as Oracle, Tibco etc.• Ensuring correct and appropriate Storage is requested and configuring storage through Veritas Volume Manager when presented.• Resolving all AD issues when required to enable user access for the Application Teams.• Audit of servers due for Migration, diagnosing and fixing any issues prior to Migration.• Supporting the Migration of servers between datacentres or internal moves this includes, Hardware/OS check prior to move and reconfiguration of NIC’s, Hardware/OS check, Storage check and troubleshooting after move this can include hardware, OS, Storage and Network troubleshooting including liaison with appropriate teams for diagnosis and fix.

Same duties as the last role apart from co-ordinating and carrying out decommissioning activities across 2 datacentres.

Employed by EDS then HP on the Aviva account, I was responsible for co-ordinating decommission activities on Aviva's Datacentre Migration Project, and I was also responsible for assisting the 3rd party contractor in planning and carrying out the migration of the E-commerce environment.

Worked for the Server Support Team at Norwich Union (Aviva), providing technical project support and planning expertise for a Major Datacentre Migration, responsible for technical auditing, technical support and testing for all servers involved in the move, and liason with other technical teams.

Systems Administrator, responsible for the installation configuration and support of all Wintel servers within 3 managed Data Centres from bare metal build through to production go live.

Worked for Distributed Support in Edinburgh Scotland, responsible for looking after 3 Datacentres with approx 10000 Servers.

Systems Administrator looking after all of the Comet Group PLC's internal management systems, including user accounts, anti virus and backup regimes.

Worked on the Ulster Bank Integration project, responsible for the provision of 4 testing and proving sites located in various locations (London, Edinburgh, Dublin and Belfast).

Worked as part of the Service Support and Operations Team, monitioring 2 Datacentres and approx 3000 servers as part of the NpFIT project, responsible for mission critical fixes and change mangement implementations within this environment.

Worked as part of the Backup and Restore team responsible for the restoration of Data to users as part of the Department of Welfare and Pensions Project.

Worked as an onsite managed service engineer for IKON at CIBA Speciality Chemicals in Bradford, looking after mainly Desktop issues but assisting in Server issues also.

Served as a Combat Medical Technician in The Royal Army Medical Corps, I served in the First Gulf War and Bosnia and Kosovo as well as serving on the Ambulance Strike.
