In 2015, I was hired by Scuzz TV - a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment - to cover the UK’s premier rock and metal festival: Download. I filmed various links and interviews across the weekend for a series of programs that were broadcast throughout the summer. Since then, I've become the channel's lead presenter and have conducted several interviews with some of the hottest new bands in rock & alternative music (Babymetal / Bring Me The Horizon / Architects / A Day To Remember), alongside established acts like Slipknot, Green Day, Faith No More & Judas Priest.

Since 2013, I've worked for Festival Republic as the DJ, compere and curator of the Lock Up Stage at Reading Festival. In this position, I use my expertise and knowledge of punk & alternative music to advise the festival’s promoters on which acts to book for the stage, which I then host each year. I also perform regular DJ sets in the festival’s Guest Area, where I play a mix of rock, indie, hip-hop & pop, and I also provide content (video diaries etc) for the festival's website and YouTube channel.

Until the venue closed down I was resident DJ at the Brooklyn Bowl (O2 Arena, London), where I supported the likes of Alice Russell, Lucinda Williams, Bob Mould, The Bronx, Every Time I Die, Ginger Wildheart, The View, Public Service Broadcasting & Grandmaster Flash, and I DJed after-show parties for everyone from Bring Me The Horizon to UB40. I also contributed interviews and reviews to the venue's online blog.

As an established music journalist, I was commissioned by TeamRock and their subsidiary outlets (Metal Hammer and Classic Rock magazine) to contribute numerous features, interviews and reviews for circulation both in print and online: Juliette Lewis, Billy Corgan, Gene Simmons & Thurston Moore are just a few of the acts that I interviewed for the company. I also used my industry contacts and relationships with musicians, record labels and management companies to help promote the brand, thus increasing their online visibility, web traffic and sales figures.

Before the station was taken off air, I produced and co-presented the Breakfast Show on Team Rock Radio. Daily duties included programming all the music, developing content for broadcast, booking guests, editing interviews, executing on-air competitions, delivering sales & promotion campaigns in accordance with strict briefs, and interacting with listeners via live phone calls and off-air channels such as the station’s website and social media platforms. Other roles included attending regular playlist meetings and representing the station at festivals and live events. In addition to my work on the Breakfast Show, I also produced and presented my own weekly Punk Show, an in-depth talk show, and a series of one-off documentaries, which I used to develop my passion for new music, interviews & specialist programming.

I carried out a variety of roles at Kerrang! Radio, first as an Assistant Producer and Cover Presenter and later as Presenter, Producer & Music Programmer of the station's Evening Show, which I hosted for three years. Daily duties included (but were not limited to) programming all the music, liaising with PRs & record labels to book guests for interviews & live sessions, editing interviews and preparing pre-recorded programs. Other roles included interacting with listeners via live phone calls and 100% request shows and engaging them further via a bespoke page on the station’s website, which I updated daily with playlists, interviews, videos, pictures & replies to listeners on the message board. As host of the Evening Show, my RAJAR figures rose to a record high and the show was nominated for Best Specialist Program of the Year at the 2012 Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards. I was also part of the full-time Kerrang! line-up that was nominated for Best Station of the Year at the 2013 Sony Radio Academy Awards.
