Running shifts, ensuring staff and products are held to the highest standards, making sure to keep our high level of customer retention, communicating effectively to numerous staff and solving issues as they arise.

Shadowing a Director of Markham’s Ltd, I was able to apply my studies to the work that I undertook, and this helped to cement my knowledge of how to make the best use of it. I enjoyed using the industry standard technology that they had access to, and the use of the BCIS databases and the archive of the company’s own projects to apply figures to specified elements for the client. I had a great sense of accomplishment from knowing that work that I produced is currently being used, for example – a social housing facility that is currently under construction on Elker Lane in Billington is using the initial cost estimate that I produced, which covered measuring all the elements of the external works.

Cash handling and assisting customers in need, whether they be experienced with the subject matter or simply looking for gifts for loved ones. Role demanded a kind, confident and attentive demeanour.

Dealing with confidential information and being held accountable through non-disclosure agreements. Job duty mainly involved the transfer of medical records from physical to digital copies. Maintained high accuracy rate due to my care for the task.
