After overseeing the successful launch of B2C and B2B applications within a three-month timeframe, I was elevated to Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. In this role, I played a crucial part in shaping the company's strategic direction, driving fundraising initiatives, and assuming a more hands-on approach in overseeing all operational facets across departments. I also assumed the responsibilities of interim CEO for seven months.

I joined Macrostax as VPE with the goal of growing the engineering team to build a new native mobile app to replace an existing legacy web app. Within 2 months I doubled the size of the team and implemented process improvements to deliver a new experience for our users that resulted in > 50% user adoption and 100% reduction in system outages. While building the new platform we were also architecting a new B2B SaaS product which went live less than three months after the delivery of the new native B2C apps, resulting in a new revenue stream with > 10x LTV.

With UrbanSitter's acquisition of Sitter Inc. in May 2019, a new Enterprise division was formed to focus on B2B solutions in the care industry. Sitter Pro consists of iOS and Android apps for clients and caregivers in addition to a full back-end management system for the agency to oversee their operations. A few of the features:-Automated caregiver scheduling and assignment based on a proprietary algorithm that takes into account family favorites and agency recommendations-Time tracking-Automated payment processing supporting credit cards, cash, or invoices-Corporate backup care support-Supports any in-home care type including child, pet, senior, home, and tutoring.-Supports almost any business model with custom rate management and policy configuration including cancellation fees, minimum hours, and last-minute booking fees-Multiple service area support-Business reportingTechnologies used include React, React Native, Redux, Node.js, MongoDB, microservices architecture, RabbitMQ, and AWS.

Technical Co-Founder responsible for all aspects of Sitter's original B2C mobile app designed to enable parents to quickly and easily book and pay their own babysitters and find new ones by connecting with friends and neighbors. We then pivoted to build a B2B SAAS business management platform for the care industry that gives companies, big and small, the technology needed to compete in today's world. Sitter Pro is a robust backend solution and consumer-facing mobile app that significantly reduces the time and resources required to manage a care business so business owners can focus on what matters - providing great care and growing their business. Graduate of Techstars Boulder 2017, Sitter was acquired by UrbanSitter in May 2019.
