Working as part of a small team of external consultants responsible for the design and implementation of what was to be NASDAQ's next-generation trading platform. My role was joint technical lead, creating the underlying framework (C++) on which the platform which would be based and educating and leading members of NASDAQ's in-house team in building business functionality.The project was shelved before full go-live as a result of the INET acquisition.

This project involved rapidly picking up new technical skills around web delivery and the Microsoft .NET platform and leading a team including both in-house technical specialists and external consultants with full end-to-end responsibility for design, implementation, test and rollout to production.

Worked on post-trade integration projects, market data delivery, order routing and exchange trading systems. Hired and based in London, but my time at Tibco included a 12-month secondment to head office in Palo Alto and a shorter 6-month spell working in Paris.
