Insider Risk Program -I protect Deloitte's business units through leading teams to assess & respond to risk while deploying technology solutions to prevent, detect, and respond to risk behaviors. I also supervise a team of analysts which daily triages the most critical insider risks to our enterprise. > Leads strategy and operations for insider risk detection, assessment, and response to highest risk populations within the enterprise. > Manages a portfolio of potential risk indicators to drive the firm’s ability to surface risk> Manages key relationships with a multitude of stakeholders, including business leaders, data source owners, technology teams, legal and talent offices, and software vendors to integrate new data, improve technology tools, present program outcomes, and drive smart policy decisions. > Co-leads the implementation of the firm’s new UEBA/SIEM tool. > Serves as the insider threat program’s CASB subject matter expert. > Develops high-level updates to inform firm leaders of key efforts, policy recommendations, and program success. > Leads program onboarding and training to ensure new team members are trained and successfully integrated. Additionally, Matt co-leads a work-stream within Deloitte's GLOBE & Allies BRG where his team focuses on connecting LGBTQ and allied professionals with senior Deloitte leadership over casual dinners to foster candid conservation, build support for inclusion, and grow professional networks.

I directed a small team charged with developing intelligence recommendations for unit leadership at one of the US Air Force's few AC-130 Gunship squadrons, which provides close-air support to our nation's troops wherever they operate. Prior to taking over, the team was struggling to complete its mission. After assessment of the problem, I repaired stressed relationships, eliminated redundancies, refocused communications, and us back on track. Our solutions became baselines and ultimately aided 625 troops in combat.

I led the team responsible for providing intelligence to the one of the USAF's small non-standard aviation squadrons. We ensured aircrew and organizational leadership were abundantly prepared to execute missions world-wide by delivering crisp analysis and threat-based recommendations.

Leading the intelligence teams responsible for providing threat assessments to our two-star command, I was the command's principal advisor on violent extremist organizations. As an anti-terrorism officer, I planned threat mitigation strategies for personnel and aircraft missions on the African continent, covering 54 countries and spanning more than 11.6 million square miles. Our primary task: provide threat warning and ensure protection for all US Air Force personnel in Africa.
