I am fascinated by the factors that enable a person to grow and develop towards good all round health and autonomy and I am passionate about creating environments that enable this.My experience of being a minister, owner of a physiotherapy business, mindfulness coach and a therapist has taught me that real, lasting change occurs when a holistic approach - mind, body and heart/spirit - is embraced.In my day-to-day work, I split my time between running the business side of our two… Show more I am fascinated by the factors that enable a person to grow and develop towards good all round health and autonomy and I am passionate about creating environments that enable this.My experience of being a minister, owner of a physiotherapy business, mindfulness coach and a therapist has taught me that real, lasting change occurs when a holistic approach - mind, body and heart/spirit - is embraced.In my day-to-day work, I split my time between running the business side of our two physiotherapy clinics with my wife, Sara, seeing my clients for coaching, classes and therapy, building awareness of the Frailty Prevention Events we run and my study of Transactional Analysis (TA). I also have a desire to promote TA and I publish a podcast with a good friend and colleague, John Fleming, called "3 people in your Head".My bio:Having graduated from University in 1993 after studying Microbiology, I worked as a religious minister of a Churches in Manchester, Cambridge and London. In 2003 my family moved to Cambridgeshire where my wife and I set up Cambridgeshire Sports Physio and Back Care Ltd. I then trained as a hypnotherapist. Over the years I developed my skills as a personal development coach by integrating many different techniques and strategies into my therapy, such as training as a Mindfulness coach. I am now training to become a Transactional Analysis (TA) Psychotherapist. TA is a comprehensive system for understanding our inner world and the way in which we relate to others. This is a private physiotherapy clinic situated in the beautiful village of Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire. The oak-beamed treatment rooms offer a sense of calm that enhances the excellent hands-on physiotherapy treatment.
