After years of running a successful technology consulting company, I hit a crossroads. Despite the financial success, I was becoming increasingly disillusioned. Watching technology professionals treated like commodities, and seeing long-term employees being replaced by temporary resources, didn’t sit right with me. I realized I was missing something—fulfillment. I knew I had more to offer, but something needed to change. I had already been building a side business in coaching and training, helping people uncover their unique strengths and articulate their value. Over time, I found myself more passionate about this than consulting, so I made a pivotal decision. In 2022, I wound down my technology consulting business and shifted my full focus to coaching and training. I realized my true value was in helping others recognize their own Personal Intellectual Capital (PIC)—the combination of skills, knowledge, and experience that makes them unique—and teaching them how to communicate it effectively to unlock new opportunities. Then came the next transformation. My wife, who had her own successful corporate career, decided to retire early and join me. Together, we rebranded and launched GreenBox U—a venture dedicated to helping professionals realize their true potential through structured coaching and training.
