First and foremost, I'm a fixer. I crave efficiency. I'm the guy with no red numbers on his phone home screen, and an empty inbox at the end of the day. I love an effective process optimization, which absolutely no one grows up saying they want to do for a living.I've spent most of the past 15 years in the automobile industry in some form or fashion, spending time in sales, management, servicing, operations, and ultimately complaint resolution. Currently, I have the awesome responsibility of dealing with our most disgruntled customers, who've identified a horrible customer experience issue or glaring gap in our processes which is causing them distress. I bring all parties together to identify the root cause and create the "fix" for both our customer and our company. While 95% of those issues are resolved with customer education and empathy, 5% of the time I get to be the miracle worker in the 11th hour to customers who have run out of places to turn. Those moments - made up of hours of account investigation and analysis, breakdown identification, risk assessment, coaching and feedback, process optimization, and ultimately resolution - make it all worth it.Growing up an Army brat, coupled with my own military service experience, has given me a unique view of the world. The exposure to different cultures and experiences throughout my life, from the US to Europe and across the Middle East, has allowed me to find common ground and rapport with most everyone I've ever met. It's taught me that perspective is everything, and understanding personal and professional preferences and motivations is key to building a successful partnership.I've drawn on these skills to replicate my performance and success while providing an end-to-end new hire learning experience for new Complaints Case Managers, while allowing them each to maintain their unique viewpoints and individuality. The personal and professional enjoyment I receive from these training and onboarding successes fuels me with the desire to explore opportunities in learning and development.
