I joined ICIS in 2012, becoming Senior Editor for Recycling in 2019 – a role and market I have come to love. I produce weekly price assessments for R-PET and R-LDPE in Europe, and write in-depth news, analysis and thought leadership on recycling and sustainability. It's incredibly important to me to work for a company and with colleagues who support LGBT+ people, and to champion LGBT+ rights in the workplace. I'm in a very privileged place here in London and take for granted the fact that I am free to be myself both at work and home, but not all my colleagues are that fortunate. I want to use that privilege to help colleagues across the world feel they are able to bring their whole selves to work as I do, every day. Outside of work I'm an avid gym-goer and weightlifter, and counter all these good efforts with an enormous love of food, and eating in general. I've been lucky to travel to places all over the world with both work and for pleasure, and will always be planning for the next holiday. I pride myself on the massive amount of useless trivia I have retained over the years (particularly related to James Bond), which I put to good use by being part of the winning team in the RBI Pub Quiz three years in a row.
