The Vice President of Operations is responsible for concert production execution, operational management, corporate communications, community connections, overseeing the education program, and acts as the primary staff for the Board of Directors. For the area of concert production the Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing all NMPhil Staff related to the production to ensure successful performances throughout the season. The Vice President of Operations (VP Ops) manages all aspects of the day to day operational needs of the NMPhil from payroll, scheduling, and facilities to capital improvements and budgeting. This VP Ops implements corporate communication and community connections through representation on government and non-government committees and to public and private schools. The VP Ops creates a robust social media presence through community connection and understanding of the NMPhil audiences. Through the community connection with schools this position expands the Young Musician Initiative (YMI) education program started in 2013 by the NMPhil.The VP Ops works closely with the Music Director, President & Board Chair.
