Currently managing a team of (22) manufacturing engineers, planners, and tool makers responsible for all engineering support activities for the site. Responsible for the coordination of all required production operations support tasks including, but not limited to, configuration management, shop floor liaison support, manufacturing work instruction development, standard process/procedure development, tooling design, and tooling fabrication, for all major Lockheed Aircraft programs. Actively monitoring staffing requirements, recognizing potential workforce skill gaps, and executing performance management objectives. Directly interfacing with quality leadership and production leadership on a daily basis to resolve shop floor issues. Identifying, documenting, and pursuing resolution for post-deployment defects detected in Solumina MES tool. Ongoing coordination with multiple vendors to ensure MES patches, hot-fixes, and product upgrades are deployed promptly and successfully.

Effectively managed a team of (10) manufacturing engineers, planners, and tool makers responsible for the design, development, and fabrication of over 1,500 aerospace tools. Monitored staffing requirements, identified potential workforce skill gaps, and executed performance management objectives. Directly interfaced with quality leadership and production leadership on a daily basis to resolve shop floor issues. Identified, documented, and pursued resolution for post-deployment defects detected in Solumina MES tool. Persistent coordination with multiple vendors to ensure MES patches, hot-fixes, and product upgrades were deployed promptly and successfully.

Successfully implemented and deployed Solumina MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Project objectives included deployment of electronic work instructions, updated tooling management system, and new internal quality control system for 200 named users in an entirely paperless environment. Responsibilities included development of required systems engineering documentation, collaboration with multiple vendors and internal executives, and direct management of (12) engineering employees. Successfully performed startup activities- bid/proposal, schedule planning, cost-tracking, process guideline development- for PoHAP assembly engineering responsibilities.

Managed a team of (12) young engineers responsible for collecting data from legacy work instructions and developing new standard manufacturing processes for shop floor operators. Contributed to completion of project milestones associated with all major Lockheed Martin aircraft programs. Designed and evaluated assembly and fabrication tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures. Developed processes and procedures for component fabrication and assembly. Utilized laser tracker systems to reverse engineer legacy aircraft tools and components. Investigated and initiated corrective action for discrepancies, in order to maintain product quality. Ensured processes and procedures were in compliance with applicable regulations.
