DLR Group fully supports the initiatives and goals of the 2030 Challenge and is an initial signatory to the AIA 2030 Commitment.As Knowledge Manager, I'm responsible for leading DLR Group in the evolution of a knowledge sharing culture. This includes implementing strategies to: 1.) elevate inspired conversations from one-on-one chats to rich discourse open to 600 people; 2.) help transform individual ideas in one office location into inspired innovations across 20 offices; and 3.) to shepherd our designers' insights into external content that can be shared with clients, community members and professional peers. I also maintain the new tools we've put in place to help enable the growth of our interoffice culture, including our Synthesis intranet platform for internal sharing, and a new dlrgroup.com for external sharing.Each day is as different as the people I work with. I get to be a champion for the expertise of incredibly diverse architects, engineers, planners, interior designers, administrative and marketing professionals. A moderator for their communities. A sounding board for their ideas. An editor for recommending how they might refine their thoughts. A writer when they want help with the words. And a graphic designer when some visual thinking makes sense.
