    Metrix Communication LLC was started in 2004 as a supplier for Community Wireless Networks, Wireless ISPs, Hotspot Operators and Experimenters. Our main product was the Metrix Kit, an open linux platform running on a single board computer for use in outdoor environments. We bundled this with a small (64MB) linux image (Pyramid) which we built and maintained for our customers. Pyramid was capable of running multiple routing protocols for use in mesh networking and had a captive portal (nocatsplash) which we also maintained.
