As a Full Stack Developer at MTF Finance, I was responsible for developing and maintaining a performant ReactJs SPA with TypeScript. This included developing a BFF API in dotnet6.0 and supporting c# microservices, with an emphasis on high unit and integration test coverage. Additionally, I was responsible for developing the CI/CD pipeline, first on TFS, and then migrated to ADO. These efforts resulted in a mobile-first suite of tools for MTF Finance originators on their car yards, which enabled them to quote, perform customer-related checks, and submit an application.I also created an integration with SharePoint, using the OData Rest API, and subsequently migrated that implementation to the MS Graph API SDK. This allowed for a simple document management solution for referrals from an MTF Finance purchased referral company.As a key front-end developer on the MTF Finance projects, including the customer website, I utilised SCSS and JQuery, as well as KnockoutJs for complex features like a location map while the backend was dotnet MVC 5. I was also involved in the ongoing maintenance of existing software, including adding new features to the Originator site throughout my time at MTF Finance.

South 45 was a small company devoted to creating iOS applications. I helped create the iOS and also created our websites. I used a mix of Jekyll and Gruntjs to achieve this in a flexible manner that allowed for easy modifications.

At the University of Otago, I worked as a demonstrator in the computer labs, I helped students learn how to program in Python, Java and C, as well as how to use the terminal in both Linux and OS X. I tutored for two first-year papers and one second-year paper. They taught a wide range of skills related to computer science but mainly focused on problem-solving.
