As a team leader in the Schlegel Center for Service and Justice (SCSJ), I wes responsible for overseeing the weekly service sites. Due to my experience in the 2014 - 2015 school year running service site, which throughout the course of the year over 100 different students were introduced to Siena Francis House, I was able to serve as a resource to a new set of weekly service site leaders to help them recruit, plan reflections, and record service hours. In the spring, I managed the data for over 500 Project Homeless Connect Omaha Volunteers.

Served as a student leader for Creighton University's summer study abroad program in Peru. As a student leader, I worked to recruit, prepare, and lead the group throughout their experience abroad. Creighton's Peru program separates itself from other study abroad programs due to its deep and direct contact with the poor, truly embodying the Jesuit Values. As a student leader, I worked behind the scenes with my partner to help the program run smoothly, as well as provide emotional support to other students during this intense experience. I was able to improve my Spanish skills and can comfortably hold a conversation in Spanish.

Turtle Splash Water Park

Turtle Splash is a small 5 acre water park located in West Chicago, Illinois. My first year at Turtle Splash I served as a Lifeguard, Admissions attendant, and a swim instructor. My second year I was promoted to Manager in Training and Admissions Manager. Over my three summers at Turtle Splash I developed customer service skills and leadership experience while having a turtlerific time!
