Recognized as the go-to source for connecting with eBay data, we collaborated with various teams (comms, PR office of the CEO) to integrate data into their communications.Economics Team: I led the team that applied microeconomic theory and econometric analysis to uncover new opportunities for improving marketplace efficiency. By reducing market frictions, we enhance the buying and selling experience. Our team was sought out for its expertise in marketplace dynamics through innovative data analysis and rigorous experimentation. Rotation to the US to work more closely with the statistical research teams working on methodologies for eBay’s Experimentation Program. I focused on the evaluation of a Bayesian framework for the analysis of test results to ensure that the analytic teams provide the most useful input to the decision-making processes. My projects covered two main areas – customer insight and analytics and contact centre modelling and optimisation.○ Consulted with many of the UK’s leading consumer businesses helping to improve their analytical processes and deliver value from data○ Worked with clients to implement data and model based CRM solutions○ Created CACI’s Contact Centre Simulation and Forecasting ProductI led the creation of CACI’s Contact Centre Simulation and Forecasting practice. This included the creation of the software products to enable clients to build more realistic models of their increasingly complex operations – allowing optimal resourcing decisions to be made.

Consulted on system design to optimise marketing spend across channels and customer groups. Helped build simulations of marketing strategies for clients such as Vodafone Netherlands and Yelp. Built neural network and regression based marketing mix models and optimization systems for clients such as AXA Sun Life Direct.

Worked as part of team building, maintaining and selling the IMAJ Contact Centre workforce management system. In particular I led implementation of the system for a range of clients including NHS Direct, Smile, Lloyds TSB, Thus, and RSA. I directly contributed to database design, stored procedures and reports, as well as Visual Basic application development. I reengineered the optimisation engine, working with developers and optimisation experts to migrate from LP/IP techniques to Genetic Algorithms. I provided technical support and training to clients in both optimisation and forecasting, translating business objectives into algorithms to efficiently forecast and schedule contact centre workforces, balancing staffing costs with customer service levels.
