I am a scientist at heart with a passion to help businesses use data, technology and AI to drive great customer outcomes. I have worked in data science for over 25 years and I have detailed hands on experience of many aspects of data science, analytics and technology in general.Ideal roles allow me to draw upon my broad experience in order to lead and develop an organizations use of technology - especially where data and AI are core components of the product stack.I like new challenges and thrive when there is complexity and ambiguity – when the way forward is unclear I pull on my network, team and intuition to experiment to guide my actions. I have a strong business focus combined with technological enabling me to quickly identify scenarios where analytics and data science add value to the business. My experience and behaviors allow me to align technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels within an organization.I prefer to mentor than manage. I love teaching, helping those around me connect the dots and increase their understanding. I grow when assisting others - sharing my knowledge and learning from different points of view. I am having a fantastic time helping Chegg get more out of their data faster, to help students save money, learn faster and get smarter. I am excited to work with teams and partners to help them become smarter data consumers and build amazing personalized experiences.
