Infrastructure Management- Manage and maintain all aspects of the IT Infrastructure. This includes management of system administrators and help desk manager.- Manage the processes required to ensure that IT systems are maintained to a standard operating environment- Develop and manage long-range and short-range plans and schedules for the acquisition and installation of components of the IT infrastructure- Manage the security, performance and effective administration of the IT systems (directly or via the use of third parties), including the physical hardware, operating systems, networks, applications and databasesProject Management- Manage all aspects relating to the delivery of IT projects- Create and maintain project plans- Manage internal and external resources - Communicate the status of IT projects- Conduct post implementation reviews to ensure continual service improvement- Ensure project related material (such as project plans, system specifications, training manuals) are appropriately documented.Change Management- Manage the implementation of changes to IT infrastructure- Ensure appropriate audit-able change control documentation is created- Manage the implementation of new and modified systems (hardware and software) into the IT Infrastructure- Communicate the status of IT changes to relevant stakeholders- Manage the creation of technical documentation relating to changes.

Specific responsibilities include:- Ensure appropriate auditable change control documentation is created- Manage the implementation of new and modified systems (hardware and software) into the IT Infrastructure- Communicate the status of IT changes to relevant stakeholders- Manage the creation of technical documentation relating to changes.

Manage all aspects of the the IT help desk operation. Specific responsibilities included:- Manage a team of Support Analysts- Manage the incident control process - Administration of the helpdesk operation, including procurement of IT assets and services- Proactive problem management- Manage communications between IT and other business units.
