Principal Engineer - Data System Performance
Current•Tasked with deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Verizon Wireless’ 3G (eHRPD/EVDO) and 4G (LTE) Alcatel-Lucent-based markets throughout the South Central Region with a primary focus on Oklahoma (SN128/Market 184: July, 2009 - July, 2013), Arkansas (Markets 182, 183, 185, 482, 483, and 485: July, 2013 - January, 2015), and Fort Smith (Markets 183 and 483: January, 2015 - Present) equating to in excess of 1,800 eNBs.•Visualized, tested, and deployed cutting-edge LTE parameter adjustments for the purpose of improving both the customer experience and key scorecard metrics such as Setup Failures, Connection Drops, 4G retention, VoLTE Ineffective Attempts, and VoLTE Lost Calls.•Served as the Regional lead with respect to peer training, load-over-load parameter evaluations, and opening performance-related dialogues with both Headquarters and ALU on an as-needed basis for GPL (Golden Parameter List) propagations following the introduction of new eNB software. •Devised and executed a seamless, customer-transparent strategy for upgrading in excess of 120 commercial AWS eNBs in Arkansas from 10MHz x 10MHz (A and B Blocks) to 20MHz x 20MHz (AB, A2BC, and BCD Blocks) and 15MHz x 15MHz (BC Blocks) immediately following the acquisition of additional AWS spectrum.•Collaborated with various System Performance and In-Building team members to fine-tune the performance of numerous high profile Distributed Antenna Systems throughout South Central.•Strategized with Data Sales Engineering and Government Sales to produce a customer-acceptable, network-friendly solution for LTE-equipped cameras streaming live feeds to various municipalities for surveillance purposes across South Central. •Served as a key FOA consultant with regards to the LRA (LTE in Rural America) initiative in Verizon Wireless' "white spaces" in Oklahoma. •Engineer - Data System Performance: July 2009 - February 2013•Senior Engineer - Data System Performance: February 2013 - May 2015
