I started Headlong Farm, a regenerative and diversified farmstead, to bring just a little more strength to the local food system. We provide (non-certified) organic vegetables, uniquely handmade baked goods, "farmstay" experiences, homestead skill classes, and much more. You can find our products at the Elgin Farmer's Market or at our on-farm store during the weekends.

On the back office software team, I wireframed, prototyped, and tested user interfaces for bank employees. Our two-designer team helped bring modern goal- and user-centered design practices to bear on a space that often neglects its users.

Working on the Vision team, I performed UI consultations with external partners to help integrate the PayPal experience into their software; developed prototypes for new products; oversaw "hallway usability testing" efforts; and redesigned user interfaces for acquired technologies.As a member of the Credit User Experience Design team, I designed and improve user experiences in credit product on-boarding and debt servicing. Much of what we did was centered around seamlessly integrating our innovative financing options into the PayPal wallet.In Platform Services, I worked as the UX designer for the external PayPal developer portal (http://developer.paypal.com) and the internal dev portal. Duties include creating conceptual mockups for new features; performing user research with developers at hackathons; and working with content and visual designers to improve consistency in the site.

Created corporate legal and online infrastructure; developed both software and brand image; actively seeking and signing clients. Business goal was aggregating software, techniques, and people to deliver sensible services to SMBs. As CTO, headed the product's merchant analytics initiative.The company's flagship social rebates service, Kanjus (http://kanj.us), was the primary focus of development.

Assorted web-related R&D projects (HTML5 and LAMP) for Georgia Tech, including a mobile-connected, touchscreen room-reservation kiosk system for the newly constructed Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons building.

Back-end utility development with Ruby Mechanize, RoR, and Sinatra as well as testing in VirtualBox; demonstrative Android applications for employee training; and presentations in Japanese to management regarding project status and current trends in web development.
