I am a financial and business professional with 17 years of experience in financial services and Saas finance and analytics, including five years as a business owner. I sold my business in April 2020 and earned an MBA and MS in Finance from the University of Utah in May 2022. What I enjoyed most about my previous career were data analysis and financial and strategic planning, so I made the decision to pivot to a new career in Financial Planning & Analysis where I could do that every day. Since that transition, I have learned much about SaaS KPIs, modeling and forecasting SaaS revenue and expenses, building and managing budgets for a large SaaS company, and building new financial reports and processes from scratch. I am a thorough and analytical person with a long history of finding creative solutions for hundreds of diverse clients. During my two years of graduate school, I enhanced my technical skills with a focus on working with large data sets in Excel and Power BI, while using my strategic mindset to use that analysis to make useful data-driven recommendations. If I don't know how to do something, then I know how to figure it out and get it done. I have leadership and management experience and I embrace the growth mindset to help myself and others always improve.
