• Chaired and led the management group directing the day-to-day operation of the divisions of Washington Sports and Entertainment Limited Partnership (WSELP), including Verizon Center, Washington Wizards (NBA) basketball team, Ticketmaster regional franchise, and management of George Mason University Patriot Center.• Coordinated daily operations of company. Breadth of position included management experience in: overall sports franchise management, new business development, venue management, marketing, broadcasting, media and community relations. Assisted in developing bottom-line strategies in revenue generation, including ticket sales and sponsorship sales. Senior advisor on Human Resources policies and procedures.• Worked directly with ownership group, communicating and implementing policies at the request of ownership to WSELP. Advised ownership group on pertinent issues and strategic solutions to day-to-day challenges that faced company.• Served as senior spokesman for the company.• Developed and executed internal and external public relations and crisis communications plan following the passing of Washington Sports and Entertainment Chairman Abe Pollin and subsequent change in ownership. • Served as Washington Wizards Broadcasting Director. Worked closely with Comcast SportsNet Washington-Baltimore on all issues related to Wizards broadcasts, liaison with NBA Broadcasting department. Executive Producer Washington Wizards television show “Wizards Magazine,” Executive Producer of Washington Wizards Radio Network. Negotiated radio contracts for franchise.
