Responsible for the joint creation of the DSAT compliant Puma HC Mk2 Training Syllabus/Documentation Set and the subsequent direct delivery of Conversion To Type (CTT) and Conversion To Role (CTR), advanced, tactical training on the Royal Air Force's newest Support Helicopter. Also responsible for the development of the pan platform Joint Helicopter Command Support Helicopter Combat Ready Syllabus and continual liaison with industry to adopt 'best practice' in order to ensure the continued safety of Aircrew, operating the aircraft on the Front-Line. Led an Aircrew Training Team, responsible for the delivery of the Puma HC Mk2 Computer Based Training (CBT) package. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the CBT and providing technical knowledge, experience and guidance to the training delivery partner (CAE) as required. Direct involvement with the Verification and Validation process of the Puma HC Mk2 FSTD. Captain of the Puma HC Mk2 on its first operational tasking during UK Flood Relief Efforts in early 2014, conducting aerial reconnaissance and Underslung Load (USL/Long-Line) operations as required and assumed the role of OC Training on the Puma HC Mk2's first Deployed Exercise, in support of UK Special Forces.

Type and Instrument Rating Instructor on the Bell 412EP 'Griffin' at the Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS), RAF Shawbury. Responsible for providing training to both Royal Air Force and Royal Navy pilots in the Basic and Advanced Multi-Engine Roles including; Conversion To Type (CTT) General Handing/Emergency Training, Underslung Load (Long-Line) Training, Nap of the Earth (NoE) and Multi-Element Mission Management Training, Close and Tactical Formation Training, Night Vision Device (NVD) Basic and Tactical Training to 'Level B' Standard (150'AGL, 10'MSC) including Confined Areas Training by day and night. Also responsible for the daily conduct of Professional Knowledge briefings (Meteorology, Principles of Flight, Aircraft Technical and Rules/Regulations etc) and performance evaluation/reporting of all students.
