Earlier in his career, Matt was a key member of Bronto Software's early management team, helping it grow from 10 to 100 employees and 10x growth of revenue and deal size, contributing to an eventual $200 million acquisition by Oracle in 2015.Matt's professional achievements have earned him numerous accolades, including winning Google Demo Day and Entrepreneur Magazine's Elevator Pitch. He has also secured the #351 spot on INC500's list of Fastest Growing Companies and has been recognized in TBJ's 40 Under 40 as well as their Top Companies to Watch.Matt is a proud double Tar Heel, having earned his undergraduate degrees in philosophy and political science from UNC Chapel Hill, and later an MBA with honors from UNC Kenan-Flagler, where he served as class president. Throughout his career, he has been a dedicated Habitat for Humanity volunteer, launching programs in each of his high school, college, and MBA experiences. In his personal life, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, is an avid scuba diver with a PADI Rescue Diver certification, loves cooking equatorial cuisine for friends and family, and is a frequent, but fledgling tennis player.
