Eldon Pass is focused on lower middle market, real estate and venture stage opportunities. Matt is a Venture Partner at WAVE Ventures. WAVE is a venture capital firm that invests in and commercializes high-growth products and technology. Eldon Pass also selectively partners with leading real estate firms including Woodbine (Hyatt Hill Country Resort), Valcor (Lemon Creek Ranch), and SHK Resorts (Frio Country Resort).Matt has a passion for growing businesses rooted in his experience over the last two decades building private equity funded companies and serving as a management consultant. He co-founded Texas Next Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm focused on building and growing companies in Texas. Matt serves in board and advisory roles at WAVE Ventures, GreenLink Partners, Vooks, Frio Country Resort, and Lemon Creek Ranch. His non-profit board service includes Ignite MindShift, Bright Hope World (USA) and NCompass. His prior board and advisory roles include Texas Heritage Bank, Alta Bank International, Enviro Clean, Fresh from Texas, Enflux, CoffeeTech Industries and Camp Gladiator.Matt has served in president and senior leadership operating positions at Enflux, Choice Financial Solutions (Sold to Raisin), Alta Bank International, and Texas Heritage Bank. In these roles, he was responsible for leading strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations based in San Antonio and New York. Prior to his private equity and entrepreneurial career, Matt was based in Dallas working as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company where he served Fortune 100 companies on matters of strategy and operational improvements. Prior to McKinsey, Matt worked at Accenture focused on improving operations and IT execution within the telecom and high tech industries. Matt earned a BA from Abilene Christian University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
