Bupa General Insurance division offers customers Motor, Home, Landlord, Travel and Pet Insurance products, underwritten by 3 external underwriters.Program Scope – To change Bupa’s General Insurance Underwriters; CGU/IAL for Home, Landlord and Car to Open/Hollard, and from CGU/IAL for Travel to Allianz. Program Budget was $5.2M. Project Team – 120 business and tech resources. Responsibilities: • Program Governance• Managing deliverables from Solution & Enterprise Architecture, Security, PCI and Data Privacy, Tech & UX Design, Product, Content, and documents to hand-over to IT-BAU-Support. • Safe Program Increment Planning, Change Approval Board approvals and Release Planning.• Creation of customer Migration Offer letters and emails, containing an offer to move to the new underwriter’s insurance • Create Digital customer journeys for migration offers, Sales, Service and Claims• Create Integrations between Bupa systems and the Underwriter’s systems • Creation of Intranet validations of which Bupa staff types are eligible for discounts• Change management and training of staff • Business Intelligence Reporting • Creation of an Unsubscribe technical solution • Renewals – creation of customer renewal communications • Implementation of Marketing Campaigns and Quote Re-targeting • Development of Bupa’s referral tool to pass travel referral calls to the new Travel Underwriter • Managing outbound call campaigns• Changes to Bupa’s IVR options and call recordings, including integration with the underwriters’ IVRs• Decommissioning of CGU/IAL systems and integrations• Compliance, Legal and Product review and approval of all content and disclaimersIn addition to this major program of work, I have also managed several smaller projects in the General Insurance stream. The North Platform is an investment platform used by Advisers and un-advised Clients to invest Super, Pensions and Banking funds. Rescued one stream that was failing to deliver to HESTA’s expectations. Kept the program on track through turn-over of two PM’s and one Iteration Manager. These ranged from large scale Transition Projects (5 Funds into 3, transferring 25,000 members and $3.7 Billion in Funds Under Management), operating as the Technical Implementation Manager, implementing the account, insurance and investment strategy configurations, and transitioning the data and assets to the new accounts.
