Duties and Responsibilities•Plans and supervises all aspects of drill programs for that Project Area including:o all logistics relating to drill pad preparation, spotting holes, stopping holes, rig moves etc;o monitoring drill hole progress, maintaining up to date drillhole sections on the rig, compiling quick logs of geology, alteration, structure and mineralisation during drill hole progress;o attending meetings with the Project Development team;o helps maintain drilling progress diary and any other drilling administrative lists as required;o discusses progress of drill hole and drilling strategy on a daily basis with exploration team;o signs drill company time sheets for assigned drill rig; ando prepares drill tenders, budgets and contracts.• Logs all core & RC chips and for the data entry from the project area including:o daily core logging following the established core logging procedure;o Core/RC log data daily into acQuire database; ando ensures compliance with QA/QC as established by Director, Geoinformatics & Analytics• Assists in planning of drilling for future drill programs (under the supervision of the Exploration Manager or corporate exploration staff) including compilation of annual budgets;Plans, coordinates and performs non-drilling related field activities on the Project Area including but not limited to:o geological mapping, sampling, staking, geophysical; and geochemical work.• Collects, compiles, analyses and reports upon all data for the Project Area;• Compiles geologic interpretations and evaluations that ultimately feed into Resource & Reserve work;• Participates in the training of new geologists and technicians on the project;• Other duties as requested.
