The strain of therapy led to an opiate addiction, which I bravely confronted. After eight years of sobriety, I faced another life-altering moment in February 2021—a head-on collision with a drunk driver on I-15. This resulted in another spinal injury, broken legs, and a fractured hip. My ability to walk was once again lost, and I battled painkiller dependence for a second time. Yet, I firmly believe that paralysis has allowed me to become the man I was always supposed to be.Giving Back:🤝 My passion for helping others led me to volunteer at Saint George Regional Hospital's Neuro Rehab, where I inspire patients recovering from strokes and spinal cord injuries.
