CurrentAs a hardware specialist, duties are manufacturing and imaging media servers, as well as making sure that they go through a rigorous burn test to verify that they are rack ready. Separate from manufacturing, there is maintaining the availability and condition of all of the rentals that are in house, which amounts to intaking, recovering, and prepping the servers for the next rental. Additionally, R&D is done to identify new components as current ones near EOL, going as far as creating new images based out of Win11 for media server purposes. All computers manufactured at Show Sage have an onsite cold storage containing a library of every Master Image for all machines built by Show Sage and is the responsibility of Tech Lead and Hardware Tech to maintain and correctly organize the it’s file structure, along with the various servers and network maintained for the office.Watchout Trainers duty is to cohesively instruct classes in the general usages of Watchout, sometimes structured towards the company’s specific use-case. Classes max out at 10 people per session, with 4 eight hour days at the max class period. Proficiency in Watchout usage required, as well as network literacy, and courteous in taking questions from attendees.
