Since setting out on my own I’ve been lucky to have built up some great clients such as National Museums Liverpool and Merseyrail and built relationships with some fantastic agencies around Merseyside. My work is extremely varied from concepts for fully integrated advertising campaigns to producing animated digital screens and retouching photography.

Along side my new freelance career I'm lucky to continue to working with the fantastic team at Kenyon Fraser, moving to a part time role as Head of Creative Projects.

As Head of Creative I had the fantastic job of running Kenyon Fraser’s talented studio. Taking the lead on projects across a huge range of work from advertising campaigns and print to digital and video.My work was extremely varied - from developing concepts and art directing fully integrated advertising campaigns for The City of Liverpool College to shaping ideas and project managing a series of documentaries for Everton FC.As part of the senior leadership team I helped to shape the direction of the agency and played a key role in growing the studio and introducing new ways of working.My position utlised my diverse range of skills - ideas, planning, leadership and building client relationships.

After becoming Head of Design I took the lead on design projects including live events, branding, annual reports, websites and videos. Working with some fantastic clients like Shop Direct, Virgin Media, Clarks and Nationwide.Working with the other members of the management team to develop the business and address any issues that may be effecting it. Also managing the studio - mentoring the team, hiring freelancers, planning workflow and pitching for new business.

As Art Director I was responsible for producing work from initial concept through to finished artwork, dealing with clients and suppliers and presenting pitches for new business.I also worked closely with the Creative Director to mentor and develop the junior members of the team, something I am passionate about.ICE specialised in social marketing with clients such as the Department of Health and councils, NHS Trusts and Government Offices across the country.The position also gave me a deeper understanding of design by working with focus groups to test and develop concepts.During my time at ICE I worked with their team of developers to create a wide variety of web sites and projects including working with groups of young people to develop software.

During my time at Kaleidoscope I worked on advertising campaigns in print and outdoor for clients such as Merseytravel and Knowsley Safari Park. In the regeneration sector, producing branding, annual reports, brochures and magazines for the Northwest Development Agency, English Partnerships and the Objective One programme. Other clients included the University of Liverpool and Liverpool and Wirral Councils.As part of the role I developed new skills including producing scamp visuals, utilising artworkers, hiring copy writers and photographers and art directing photo shoots. As well as working on and presenting pitches for new business.

I wanted to relocate to Merseyside so took a job at Mills Media in Birkenhead. I was responsible for designing and producing graphics for exhibitions and conferences.

I was Senior Designer in the Luminar Leisure team working on national promotions for their bar and nightclub chains. My role involved producing work from initial concepts through to print ready artwork. The job also required me to deal with clients on a daily basis and gave me a very thorough understanding of print production.
