My middle school gave each student an iPad to do schoolwork, but no stylus. Seeing an opportunity, I ordered hundreds of cheap styluses from China and sold them for a few dollars each. Despite only making a few hundred dollars (my 13-year-old self was thrilled), I was introduced to the world of entrepreneurship from a young age.In the years following I sold watches on Amazon, sold custom designed cakes, invested in stocks/options, and eventually started a YouTube channel reviewing consumer electronics that surpassed 500K subscribers and 100M views. Following that, I co-founded and ran a curb management startup (Vade) for 5 years as CEO, raising over $5M in venture capital and successfully deploying projects with cities like New York and Austin before selling the company in 2023.
