I can solve problems in creative ways. At Indiana University, where I am completing my freshman year in the Kelley School of Business, I have been crafting creative and innovative strategies to understand the complex business we are surrounded by every day. I have a passion for collaborating with others and impacting beyond the classroom. I have built off my strengths by completing two internships with Fermat Capital Management which is a Catastrophe Bond fund that works with strategic investments and natural disaster funding. During my time, I became Bloomberg certified in Microsoft excel and worked with the company spreadsheets while analyzing trades and large sums of data. Additionally, I worked in the Bloomberg Terminal and worked with the companies trading and analyzed what companies were leveraged and how they were positioned in terms of investments.Being at the University of Delaware football and Sacred Heart University football I have been able to experience a culture and environment of discipline and accountability that account for my life on and off the field. My extensive background in football has allowed me to enhance my people-building skills and relationship-building skills.Ultimately I see myself working in a work environment that is a place where ideas can be heard from the executive level all the way to the lower levels of analysis and managers. I thrive in an open and creative environment where ideas can be bounced off one another. I hope to pursue an internship over my college summers where I can dive deeper into the world of Supply-Chain or assume a role as an analyst for a financial firm where I can collaborate with others to discover themes and trends in any type of financial market.
