As a seasoned economist and financial consultant with extensive experience, I specialize in public-sector and international economics. My expertise ranges from local and international economics to fiscal, budgetary, and monetary policies, with a proven track record in providing strategic leadership across various sectors.My academic journey spans - a Bachelor's degree in Education (Mathematics and Economics) from Moi University and a Master's degree in Economics (Economic Policy Management) from the University of Nairobi. I'm pursuing a PhD in Economics (Public Sector Economics and International Economics) at Kenyatta University (coursework completed and a thesis in progress). Professionally, I serve as the Managing Director of Finsolution Consultants Limited, leading strategic initiatives and international development projects that align with both national and international economic goals. My role extends to Matu Wahome & Associates where as a senior partner, I oversee audit consultancy and tax accounting services. As an Executive Director and Founder Member of Royal Business School, I guide the institution's strategic direction and operational management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and training programs.Careerwise, I have collaborated with a diverse range of organizations, including government institutions, professional bodies, private organizations, and NGOs with notable collaborations including GIZ, KFW, World Bank, CBK, GFA, NG-CDF, NIRAS, Sinapis, Africa-Oil, PELUM, AGRISS, NDI, GOK, IEA, KTDA, and CAFOD. I am a certified public accountant (CPA-K), and an active member of ICPAK and the Economists Society of Kenya (ESK).My commitment to academia is reflected in my extensive lecturing experience serving as a lecturer at several institutions, including Kenyatta University, Machakos University, Catholic University of East Africa, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, University of Sunderland U.K, and Kenya Methodist University.
