I was working as a calibration engineer on customer projects in the field of vehicle dynamics. My job included working on test benches, calibrating the different functions our software have and performing tests in vehicle for safety validation. During my time spent in Budapest, I often went on business trips to customers' plants and dealer shops as well, including but not limited to Turkey, Slovenia, China, Italy, etc.

In the early days I supported our customer on-site in steering-wheel calibration and tuning. I took part in the production ramp-up in Mexico then later assisted in the carryover projects for the same customer with the help of Budapest and Eschen. I often traveled from Cologne to Lommel where we did several validation tests on the test track.

Tokyo, Japan

Shortly after I joined the company I was sent out to Japan. During that 1.5 years, my main duties included direct customer support, vehicle tests, attending meetings representing the company and being a window person in the communication between Tokyo and Budapest+Eschen.

I was preparing chassis components for finite elements analysis using ANSYS.

Research on a heated exhaust pipe with simulation using Star CCM+ and comparing the two result. Using PIV to measure a flow, translating lecture materials to English at the Department of Internal Combustion Engines.

I was working in the field of quality control of power tools where I had the opportunity to get a glimpse of several components we were working with. During my stay I helped the work of engineers.
