As Data Engineer I was responsible to centralize, document and instrument 3rd party data sourcing to enable simple and automated data pipeline deployments via Jenkins. Also I was involved in the creation of a semi unattended flow using docker to test several components of the product and its dependencies. Most of my time at Flowcast I was involved on the development, optimization of the data warehouse, testing and deployment of the core product. As part of the development, I participated on translating and integrating experimental code into production code. Also I worked on the creation of different python scripts to perform inter dependent tasks.During the optimization of thedata warehouse I worked on the exploration of the different data sources and the optimization of queries over Hive data stores. As part of the testing, I worked a lot with Docker and the related tools such docker-compose.Finally, at the deployment stage I worked with Openshift platform in order to integrate and deliver our product into client's environment.

After Skout’s acquisition from Meetme I continued working as a Data Engineer to maintain the existing data infrastructure. Also, as part of an unifying process I worked in a team to unify both platforms and have a multi-product and multi-business data infrastructure.

Working as a data engineer to design, prototype and develop the Business Intelligence core infrastructure to support decision making and monitor key business metrics. I was involved on the development of different ad-hoc subsystem, modules, ETL processes and being responsible of the processing of production grade data volumes in a periodic basis.
