New Dutch Wave is a unique platform solution designed to inspire, connect and generate new business. New Dutch Wave is the place where Dutch entrepreneurs, creatives, start-ups, as well as the Dutch government and our cities will present themselves to a captivated international audience. Launched during SXSW 2017 in Austin, Texas it has created a new base line for doing international business abroad.We created a singular programme which gives clients the opportunity to connect with existing and new customers and meeting (local) key decision makers, all with the potential to both increase sales in international markets and exchange ideas in a public and private co-‘maker’ space.New Dutch Wave is a collaboration between Enterprise Summit and Wink.As a Startup Lead, my responsibilities are:Identify and engage with potential Dutch startups to leverage opportunities through personal and event networking, technology meet-ups, direct outreach, and industry research.Build connections with Venture Capitalists, investors, corporates, local start-up ecosystems, and industry experts;Understand and stay current on various markets, industry trends and competitive landscape;Organize and coordinate several startup activities, events, and incoming/outgoing delegations; Coach and help startups on international trade missions.
