Lead Instructor
CurrentLead Instructor for a MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) bootcamp has a key role in teaching and managing the learning process for students. His/her main functions include:- Course design and planning: responsible for planning the course content, ensuring that it covers all MERN technologies. This includes creating or adapting the curriculum, choosing hands-on projects, and ensuring that the material is aligned with industry trends.- Teaching: teach classes and lead live coding sessions. Must be able to explain concepts in a clear and didactic manner, and perform real-time demonstrations.- Mentoring and support: guide students through their learning process, offering technical assistance and moral support. This includes reviewing code, providing feedback and helping with technical problems.- Evaluation and feedback: evaluate student progress through projects, quizzes, and exercises. Also provide ongoing feedback to help students improve their skills.- Coordination (with other instructors or assistants): collaborate with other members of the teaching team, such as assistants or tutors, to ensure a smooth learning experience. This may include delegating tasks, such as reviewing assignments or providing technical assistance.- Continuous updating: technology changes rapidly, the Lead Instructor must stay current with the latest trends and tools in web development, especially in the MERN environment.
